Ashley Love, founder of IAmSimplyBeautiful Global and a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and rural community development, has been selected to join the Leadership CENLA Class of 2025. Hosted by Louisiana State University Alexandria, Leadership CENLA is a highly regarded program that brings together a diverse group of professionals to explore regional issues, develop leadership skills, and foster meaningful connections across Central Louisiana.

The program kicked off with an inspiring welcome dinner where participants had the opportunity to network, share their professional journeys, and prepare for the leadership sessions ahead.

The first full day of programming centered on Foundations of Leadership & Regional Rules of Growth, featuring a tour of the Central Louisiana Regional Port. The experience provided participants with a better understanding of the port’s crucial role in transportation, commerce, and economic development in the region.

One of the most memorable moments for Ashley was the tour of England Airpark, where the group visited the Air Traffic Control Tower. There, Ashley had the chance to speak with several women working in air traffic control who shared their inspiring career paths, training experiences, and what it’s like working in a high-pressure, male-dominated environment. Their stories deeply resonated with Ashley and reinforced her mission to uplift women in all industries.

“This day gave me a renewed sense of purpose,” Ashley shared. “Learning about the incredible work happening behind the scenes in our region—and hearing directly from women breaking barriers—was truly empowering.”

Ashley looks forward to continuing her Leadership CENLA journey and applying the knowledge, relationships, and inspiration she gains to her work in Central Louisiana and beyond.
