Through strategic partnerships and impactful programs, we aim to encourage personal growth, build confidence, and prepare individuals for brighter futures. This year, we are excited to expand our reach by continuing to collaborate with local and national organizations, including our ongoing efforts with the 988 Project, which provides crucial mental health support.

Workforce Development: Preparing for Success

Workforce development is a key focus for 2025, and we are equipping community members with the tools and skills they need to thrive in the job market.

Our initiatives include:

• Resume Workshops: Teaching participants to create resumes that highlight their skills and accomplishments.
• Mock Interviews: Providing realistic interview practice to build confidence and communication skills.
• Technology Training: Offering online and in-person classes to enhance basic computer skills, a vital asset in today’s workforce.
• Job Opportunities: Once participants are prepared, we will support them in finding jobs.

Empowering Women: Confidence and Career-Ready

Beyond career skills, we are committed to empowering women by fostering self-confidence and readiness to pursue their aspirations. Highlights of our programs include:

• Career-Ready Clothing: Partnering with businesses and donors to provide professional attire for interviews and workplaces.
• Confidence Trainings: Guiding women to overcome self-doubt, enhance leadership skills, and embrace their potential.
• Vision Board Workshops: Helping participants visualize their goals and create actionable steps to achieve them.
• Monthly Community Meetings: Hosting gatherings that explore topics like financial literacy, leadership, health, and personal development to inspire and educate.

Expanding Partnerships and Supporting Local Initiatives

In addition to workforce development and empowerment programs, we will continue collaborating on the 988 Project, ensuring access to mental health support and resources for those in need. We are also committed to supporting initiatives throughout Louisiana and beyond that positively impact the lives of women and youth. By working with local organizations and community leaders, we strive to create a ripple effect of empowerment and change.

Preparing for the Future: Conferences and Young Leader Sponsorships

To broaden our reach, we are introducing online resources this year, including classes on basic computer skills, confidence-building, and career readiness. These virtual tools will help us connect with women in rural and underserved areas.

We are also laying the foundation along with Charged Visions to prepare to host our first conference in 2026, an event designed to bring together women from diverse backgrounds to share knowledge, create connections, and inspire leadership and growth.

Additionally, we are proud to sponsor four young girls to participate as Fleur De Lis in next year’s Miss Louisiana’s Teen competition. This opportunity is about more than pageantry; it’s about:

• Building confidence and self-esteem.
• Cultivating a sense of sisterhood and belonging.
• Providing life skills and leadership development.

These young leaders will represent their communities while gaining valuable experiences that prepare them for the future.
